Man Sues for Injuries Due to Defective Chair

Premises liability cases often involve slips and falls. A South Carolina man is suing as a result of a fall, but he’s claiming he fell from a defective chair while visiting a casino in Mississippi.
The man claims he was sitting at a slot machine at a Biloxi casino when the chair collapsed and threw him to the floor, causing him to suffer injuries.
The man’s attorney has filed a lawsuit against the casino and the chair’s manufacturer. According to the lawsuit, the casino was negligent in exposing patrons to dangerous conditions and the manufacturer allegedly failed to test the safety of the chair.
After the fall, the man sought medical attention at a local hospital and the lawsuit alleges that both physical and mental injuries.
